Evanthia was founded in 2013 but its history goes back as far as 1993 when Nico Grootendorst founded the company Combifleur. After a partnership in 2008, it is time for the next step in 2013, Evanthia sprouts.
Evanthia will focus on breeding cut flowers, pot and bedding plants, propagation of tropical plants and its own seed processing department. Above all, they are a breeder with a vision, a partner. With unique own genetics, a selection of top series from other breeders and a large dose of knowledge and experience, together they lay the foundation for your cultivation.
At Evanthia, service still has a face and a name. They make it personal and assist you during cultivation and sales. Together we can flourish, together we move forward.

Evanthia is above all a breeder with a vision, a partner. Because of the strong growth over the last 2 years and the planned growth in the coming years of their own genetics, they needed to look for an upgrade for their machinery. With more and bigger seed productions, they needed more capacity. Therefore, in consultation with Seed Processing Holland, they chose the Seed Air Separator.
Our Seed Air Upgrader, CAM-4220, is used to separate and enhance pre-cleaned vegetable and field crop seed lots on their specific weight (heavy “good” seeds, lighter seeds, and empty seeds). The machine is suitable for use in breeding stations like Evanthia, but also for foundation seed stations and commercial processing plants.
