As a Mechanical Engineer you are involved in the project development/design and/or further development of machines and installations with the associated tasks.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Converting sketch designs into concrete machines and installations;
- Producing production drawings for mechanical engineering;
- Independently executing small to medium sized projects;
- Supervising your project within SPH and communicating with the customer especially regarding technical details;
- Managing fellow Engineers working in your project;
- Making small and/or large adjustments to existing drawings;
- Describing the (electrotechnical) operation of machines and installations;
- Preparing construction files and risk analyses;
- Keeping the digital (basic) checklists up-to-date;
- Archiving the project structure (as built).
This is your profile:
- A completed HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or HBO working and thinking level;
- Demonstrable work experience in a similar position in machine and equipment construction;
- Experience with a 3-D drawing package (we work with HICAD);
- Experience with ERP packages (we work with RidderIQ);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Knowledge of power transmission, pneumatics, electrical engineering and hydraulics;
- Knowledge of air treatment, refrigeration technology, ventilation technology etc. is a plus;
- Planful and accurate;
- Good administrative skills;
- Strong teamwork skills, but can also work well independently;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
