A new cleaning system for their winter Oil Rape Seeds
Hubert Guillamume is Seed Logistic Manager for Oil Rape Seeds (ORS) in the seed production team at the European research station in Boissay, France. They were looking for a new cleaning system that is simple, practical, visual, quick and easy to clean by temporary workers. At their location they only process winter ORS.
After a an internet search for an air column style cleaning system, the Laboratory Seed Blower of Seed Processing Holland appeared. So they decided to contact us and ask for advice.
Solution: 8 Seed Blowers in operation
This resulted in 8 pieces of Seed Blowers Ø 200, CAM-4010 currently in operation for cleaning batches used for European experimentation. This machine is used to separate good (heavy) seeds from waste (dust, husks, straw, and empty seeds) based on their weight. The machine is very suitable for use in breeding stations (R&D stations) like at Bayer Crop Science.
The main benefits of the seed blower:
