About Origene Seeds
ORIGENE SEEDS from Rehovot, Israël is an innovative international seed company, active in research, plant breeding, seed production and processing, sales & marketing of hybrid vegetable varieties. The company’s strategy is to develop new hybrids with novel traits of quality, taste, flavor, uniformity, high nutrition values, shelf life, all combined with high yield and environmentally friendly. The hybrid varieties are suitable for the commercial outdoor crops or greenhouse growers as well for plant raisers, for the professional sectors.
Good relationship
The first contacts with Origene Seeds date back to 2006, when contact was made at the ISF Congress. Our Sales Area Manager Sylvia Jorritsma has since then met with them at congresses and visited the company several times. Over the years, this has led to a good relationship between our two companies.
A wide range of seed processing machines
This relation has led to the purchase of several machines from 2009 until now. Origene Seeds is specialized in R&D, watermelon, melon, cucumber, squash, pumpkin, hybrid seeds, pepper and tomato.
They use the following machines from Seed Processing Holland (in order of purchase):

- Two Laboratory Seed Air Separators, CAM-4200 (bought in 2009 and 2017)
- Laboratory Seed Brushing Machine Ø 300 mm, CPM-4010
- Seed Centrifuge Small, DRP-4000 with seed drums suitable to use in the centrifuge
- Seed Heat Treatment Unit, SDM-4100 fitted with a Rotation unit, DRS-4100 and seed drums
- Air Screen Cleaning Machine 1.80 m², CSM-4000 with a variety of screens
- Seed Mixing Machine 350 Litres, CBM-4200
- Seed Film Coating Machine Ø 150 mm, FWM-4000
